Learn about our benefit-matching program at the market! (And see how you can help!)

Did you know we match SNAP/EBT, Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC and Senior) and e-WIC Fruit and Vegetable Benefits at our market?  With the help of the Barn Quilt Association of Garrett County, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we partner with the Southern Maryland Agriculture Development Commission to participate in the Maryland Market Money program!  

This program encourages lower-income customers to shop at the market.  If they come swipe their SNAP/EBT card for $10, they get $10 in SNAP tokens and an additional $10 in matching tokens, for $20 to spend with our vendors!
